  1. Interesting to read your list, I want to write one for myself but I’m not quite ready yet. I know a lot of things I want to accomplish but I want to find the right way of expressing them to myself. I want my list to give me inspiration, motivation and make me remember what I want to give priority. Balance is the most important thing, but how to reach it…well. I haven’t done to well today because I have spent hours in front of Pinterest and blogs and that is NOT good for me to sit still that much in my free time.

I really hope you will stop hating your body! You are so beautiful! I have to tell myself not to hate my body as well, because I have gained so much weight the last three years or so. I want to make 2012 a healthy year and loose weight, start to exercise and get help from a physiotherapist with my shoulders and some other things. But I also want to like myself in the process of loosing weight, be where I am and make the best of it.

Best of luck to both of us! :-)

  2. Happy New Year Leah! I feel the same as you “bring 2012 on”. I love the photos you post..this one with the girl holding the huge bunch of flowers and a similar one with a girl holding balloons. Good luck with your list..don’t be to hard on yourself though! Look forward to reading your blog in 2012. Catherine

  3. I’m loving the list! #3 is so hard, I struggle with that every day. I appreciate how your list has some intangibles too. I was thinking that I should have included a few “things to be” on my “things to do” list, I just had no idea how to determine when I had achieved them so I could cross them off. You’re list has inspired me to think about making another small “to be” list. Thank you for sharing Leah!

  4. What a super wonderful list Leah. I love it!
There’s some things on here that I want to do too – I’m still formulating / writing my list… (it’s a long one!). Let’s crochet together and sew dresses together.
number 3 – Leah, Leah – you need to remember that you love your body. You don’t hate it. It’s been a big last year, and other things (rather than yoga and body strengthening) have been happening. How about tells us the things you love about your body – I’d like to read about that.
I love your always sense of seeing the good and the happy and the optimistic in everything. I love the way you dress, and your sense of style and the way you hold yourself with such confidence. I love your warm, honest and generous heart. I love your sparkle! shall I go on….
Here’s a good year – being in the moment, and learning to dream big at the same time. and some fun goals coming to fruition too!

  5. I love all the goals you have set for yourself. In just two words, you’ve managed to capture so much feeling and inspiration. Thanks for sharing some of the more personal goals, as well. I also went through a period where I hated my body (and I still don’t looove it), but I’ve come to accept it as it is and hate it a little less (even after two children ;) . I look forward to spending 2012 with you and reading about your journey.

  6. Sounds wonderful! I have the utmost faith in you, and I hope you will allow me the privilege of supporting you towards some of your goals. May I make one little suggestion, though? I think Ellie may have already gone there. How about focusing on learning to love your body instead? Our minds play funny tricks on us when we phrase things in the negative like that. You ARE beautiful, and you have been for all the 24 years I have known you, and I REALLY look forward to being witness to you realising that with every cell of your being. Look how far we have both come already….I think it’s not too far away at all!!! (We must pass through the valleys to reach those heights that we’ve set in our sights…)
    Love always, Bindi XOXO

  7. Ambitious (nothing wrong with that!!) Even a few of your goals, will surely set you up for much success ! Here’s to small changes snowballing (sorry – winter here ;) into big joyous life changes for the best ! Stay positive !

    xoxo
