ulyana sergeenko’s spring 2012 lookbook

here’s a peek at ulyana sergeenko‘s  spring 2012 collection…

i don’t usually post about fashion, but i was so excited to discover ulyana sergeenko‘s spring 2012 lookbook is out. i absolutely loved her fall debut. and her spring/summer is just as stunning..

i absolutely adore the styling in these photos. ulyana’s style is amazing. romantic, lush, graceful, with a sense of abundance; and a dash of quirk.

{you can see the whole ulyana sergeenko s/s 2012 collection here.}

i think my favourite shots are these back stage photos. they exude such a softness. i’m in love…

wooden wings…

i love the details in this bedroom. the wooden wings add such character and warmth to the room. personal photos, religious icons, lots of natural light, such a divine personal space.

this is the beautiful bedroom of designer lucy young and her hubbie marcus miller. definitely feeling inspired…

mullum christmas night markets

a few of my favourite stalls from the night markets:
i loved the gorgeous, delicate tea light candle holders by blaze ceramics. i love the simplicity of louise’s designs. i would love to own any of her work! you can contact louise at blazeaustralia@gmail.com

anna lennon of cuban pink is a lifelong lover of all things vintage. anna finds enjoyment in sourcing vintage fabric, and giving them a second chance in life as part of her beautiful designs… she is also one of the most beautiful women i have ever met…

massuri is the fashion label designed by the incredibly talented and humble designer galit massuri. every massuri masterpiece is made with love by talented locals and all her designs feature natural fibres such as cotton and silk.

you can see her creations here.

indigo inspirations is run by the lovely jo. indigo inspirations stocks natural craft materials, environmental board games, quality drawing supplies, wooden toys & puzzles, beautiful books and unique hand painted wool. these products are truly divine.

the market had great live music and a complimentary glass of champagne. ’twas a great night. i love the local talent in this area!

shopping handmade…

the artisan handcrafted christmas market was held at the tweed river art gallery on the weekend. it was so fun! below is just a taste of what was on offer…

{just an aside: i may have a beautiful mug/cup coming as a chrissy present}

helle jorgensen

i met the most lovely helle for the first time this weekend. helle creates the most beautiful crocheted items. from necklaces, to underwater sea life {coral, anemones…}, to sweet, whimsical headwear creations {like the one she is wearing in the top two photo’s}.

i’m hoping to do a crochet workshop with helle early next year which will be fun!

you can visit her etsy shop ‘gooseflesh’ here.

two…

i love the idea of these gorgeous dresses for summer.  they are designed by monica patel-cohn the woman behind the label two. “two is a small collection of chic tunics, caftans and dresses made from indian cotton sarees.”

the weather here in northern nsw, australia, has been hot and humid. summer has shoved spring out of the way and i have realised that my wardrobe is lacking. i need some clothing that i can throw on and feel cool, comfortable and pulled together.

the pieces from  two are soft and flowing, monica has created stylish, easy lifestyle pieces. i think the two pictured above are perfect…

i am not a lover of summer but beautiful cool dresses {and lots of swimming} may make this season more enjoyable.

p.s it is so dry here that our {water} spring has dried up… so for now we take our washing into town and wash at the laundromat…. not that big a deal. all we need now is a big down pour of rain and our garden will be so happy.
