{monday musings…}

today i am holding on by a thread

i am focusing on…

:: breathing in the fresh spring air
:: fresh flowers on the kitchen table
:: practising gratitude and counting my blessings

i’m counting my blessings.

i feel overwhelmed. my head is busy, too busy. this week i want to get a lot done. i want to…

:: declutter!! my stuff is driving me crazy!
:: photograph and upload items for sale on ebay
:: declutter, declutter, declutter! less clutter makes me happier
:: read more, a little bit every day…
:: fundraising for school camp… i’m not doing too well on this one….
:: 10 days ’til my boy is home… need to spring clean his room (10 days! that’s less than 2 weeks!! {insert happy dance here} )

 let’s do this!!

I’m busy decluttering too….where does all this stuff come from?!?
Keep hanging on…those 10 days should go faster in this beautiful spring weather

okay leah, lets put some yarn around that thread, and then some real rope, and then slowly let you down onto the ground. now you are not holding on by a thread, but standing on your two feet. here’s hoping you can check things off your list and feel peaceful in the evening. happy monday (or tuesday)!

Hey Leah, hang in there, I feel the same sometimes, good luck with your list and decluttering.

Hey You, breathe and enjoy this beautiful weather we are having. Those features sure are pretty.
You are stronger than you know, and by taking moments and enjoying each small piece of beauty that happens in your day you will be ok.
Take time, go slowly. Write your to-do list on paper and get it out of your head – no use having your head cluttered up as well. And then take your time and slowly cross off your to-do; but you don’t need to worry about the things on the list, they’ll get done in good time.
I love what Noreen said about turning that thread into a rope; remember that your friends and family are here adding pieces of yarn to your thread to weave a rope for you.

I know what you mean about the de clutter. We got rid of so much this time last year before we moved to Bali. No we are back and i dont miss any of it, even when i see some of these things i gave friends. Enjoy the passing on of bits and pieces.

Ok, Leah, I’m sending you lots of energy to get all these things done. Let T. coming home be the power surge you need. Yay for having him home. Not too long now.
I totally feel you on the clutter. Mine definitely needs some attention, as well. You’ve just given me some motivation. ;)
