the flowers are from our garden and picture number 2 is miss s playing explorers, the chickens are her side kicks.

the snake is her eldest brother’s snake. miss s was so at ease with this gorgeous creature. when we left she said ” mama, i think i need a snake”.

a BIG thankyou to all you gorgeous people who have left comments. you have made my week super lovely.

    Hi Leah,
I love the child/snake picture! Is it a boa constrictor? We had one growing up, and neighbors used to run from the house when we would come out with it like she is holding your snake. They are great pets, except when they escape. Beautiful shots. Happy weekend!

It’s a diamond python. What sort of snake was yours? They are lovely.

boa constrictor. it ate live mice. i did not feed the snake! who feeds yours and what does it eat?

        • leah

Miss S’s big brother… they like live mice but sometimes have frozen…

Your little girl looks so right with the snake :-) And the chickens. Is she a real “animal child”?

I followed the link to lolalina’s feature of your shop, and that top inspiration photo is sooo beautiful. You should put it in your shop, to give inspiration :-) Wish I was rich, because I find so many good shops via the blog world, I would like to buy so many things!

    • leah

Yes maria, she is a total nature child. Loves animals and plants…

Your daughter is beautiful! She looks so relaxed with the snake! Good for her! On another note, how is your Mum? I hope she’s doing better.

    Hi Leah,
Thanks for the snippet into your life. Very different than mine! My kids would run if there was a snake in sight. Great photos! Sorry to hear your mum is not well. Stay strong and keep smiling. After all, we are all in this together. Tina xo

Thanks Tina! It feels good to not be alone.
