:: things i love thursdays

this week my mr and i began researching paint and materials to begin some small scale renovations later in the year. we were excited to find an amazing resource in ‘painted earth‘; a small business selling a large range of non-toxic, environmentally responsible house paints and wood finishes…. i am now dreaming and planning…

this week i am loving fresh bright whites and glorious pops of sunshine yellow. white subway tiles and no (or low) voc {volitile organic compounds} paint.

also loving natural fibers, wooden utensils and celebrating the little things.

my home is in dire need of a decluttering. the energy is a bit heavy and it’s making me antsy. these images are inspiring me to create some lovely nooks.

my aim is to create a warm, comfortable, inviting home. making sure my treasures have a home where they can be appreciated and loved.

if i focus on one corner at a time maybe i won’t feel so overwhelmed.

i have been a long time lover of illustrator and pattern designer samantha hahn‘s art. i love her painterly pieces. so feminine and soft. sometimes fun and quirky. but they always make me feel good.
