mullum christmas night markets

a few of my favourite stalls from the night markets:
i loved the gorgeous, delicate tea light candle holders by blaze ceramics. i love the simplicity of louise’s designs. i would love to own any of her work! you can contact louise at

anna lennon of cuban pink is a lifelong lover of all things vintage. anna finds enjoyment in sourcing vintage fabric, and giving them a second chance in life as part of her beautiful designs… she is also one of the most beautiful women i have ever met…

massuri is the fashion label designed by the incredibly talented and humble designer galit massuri. every massuri masterpiece is made with love by talented locals and all her designs feature natural fibres such as cotton and silk.

you can see her creations here.

indigo inspirations is run by the lovely jo. indigo inspirations stocks natural craft materials, environmental board games, quality drawing supplies, wooden toys & puzzles, beautiful books and unique hand painted wool. these products are truly divine.

the market had great live music and a complimentary glass of champagne. ’twas a great night. i love the local talent in this area!

much love to you all

shopping handmade…

the artisan handcrafted christmas market was held at the tweed river art gallery on the weekend. it was so fun! below is just a taste of what was on offer…

red seed studio

red seed studio is the design collaboration of my gorgeous sister ellie beck & her lovely husband sam messina. red seed studio aims at having minimal environmental impact, using only organic, sustainable & upcycled materials to create beautiful, functional & thoughtfully designed items…

ellie and sam’s creations are beautiful, raw and so divine to wear and own! you can visit their site here.

lucy vanstone ceramics

lucy vanstone’s ‘wheel of life’ pottery studio is located in beautiful brunswick heads, nsw {only 20 mins drive from my home! lucky me!}

lucy creates “useful every day items to be enjoyed and appreciated for their elegant practicality”.

{just an aside: i may have a beautiful mug/cup coming as a chrissy present}

helle jorgensen

i met the most lovely helle for the first time this weekend. helle creates the most beautiful crocheted items. from necklaces, to underwater sea life {coral, anemones…}, to sweet, whimsical headwear creations {like the one she is wearing in the top two photo’s}.

i’m hoping to do a crochet workshop with helle early next year which will be fun!

you can visit her etsy shop ‘gooseflesh’ here.

a sweet way to spend a saturday.

much love to you my friends

sang the bird: grater bowls

i’ve just added some beautiful small ceramic grater bowls to the shop. they are so divine.

i plan to use mine to grate garlic. i can then add olive oil, lemon juice and sea salt. the perfect dressing in one bowl.

they are also perfect for grating nutmeg! i’m totally chuffed at how well this beautifully simple design works.

{graters are made by hand by the lovely julia of formbar. each bowl is is approximately 4.5cm high by 11cm wide}.

Happy Monday and here’s to hopes for an awesome week…

much love to you all
